The Tenth Commandment
“Thou shalt not covet”
No one says that life is fair… One is short, the other is tall:
Some inherit thrones and shares, some born with just a poor soul.
Some good-looking have affairs. Some are smart, but live alone.
That’s unjust and makes you scared to the marrow of your bones.
Some born Black, some born Caucasian, some born ladies, some born men,
Some think it’s a good occasion, but others are miserable then.
Why not fix it in the future? Why not get rid of the rust?
Why restrict your strong desires, envies, covetousness and lust?

It’s so natural and human to target things that a neighbor has:
Better house, better woman, better job, or softer bread.
Also, one has many talents, which deserve to have rewards.
Not like his "unpleasant" neighbor, colleague, schoolmate, or landlord.
Eyes are given t’ look around: what to get and how t’ improve,
Especially among the proud and those with a “leader attitude”
Someone’s smart and good with numbers; someone can run very fast,
It’s “unequal”, "unjust" and thus must be buried in the past!

Aboriginals in jungles are quite unfortunate or worse:
They don’t know how they’re “distressed” by living off the fruits of Earth,
They would never figure out, who's discriminately rough,
Not without guilt-trip artists, who get paid on their behalf.
But as soon as they get aware; they wish for their neighbors’ goods,
neighbor’s cars, mobile devices, and their pretty neighborhood.
And for that, they may offend, if not to steal or kill or strive,
They at once become the “dreamers” of their neighbor’s better life.

That’s why worthy humans struggle to create, not to deprive.
Cause you never know how deeply can take you your covet drive.
If you value your own talents, your own sex, your own race,
Your own culture, your own country, merit can bring you the best.
Envy’s the root of every trouble, though it looks like an easy pass:
"Don’t invent, don’t build, but seek a way to somebody’s deed-of-trust!".
Lust will never make you happy; there's no excuse "to get the same"…
Even if you can possess it, you’ll remember covet's shame
No one says that life is fair...
