Cowboy Lullaby
Time to sleep, my dear James;
The Sun has passed horizon lane.
Loosen up your eager reins, ( the day is over)
Lean your head on horse’s mane.
The saddle and the bridle sleep,
Lasso sleeps on a ranch of dreams,
Rifle fire’s sleeping deep, ( and you have to)
Sleep my boy, and no more tears.
Mustangs sleep in their herds.
Oxen sleep after long ride, mm...
Just the Vulture in slow words (above all Worlds he)
Starts his stories on the glide.
Tales of buffalo and birds,
Coastal cities full of nerds,
The magic of the holy cow (and flying horses)
Sleep, my son, your bedtime’s now!
Tales of Indian wigwams,
Of Silk Road caravans,
Snow White beauty, little elves,(inside the flowers)
Sleep, you'll see that all yourself.
The prairie sleeps under stardust,
Dad’s asleep and so you must,
Sleep my dear Jimmy-boy (my major partner)
Sleep my little brave cowboy!
