The Wedding Song
Our sweetest daughter and our dearest son;
You filled our lives
With sense of parents’ mission
Day after day to frame in a Tradition
That motivates us to have a good run.
In happiness, that’s mixed with a little blues,
We hold each other’s hands
In overwhelming,
Because since now,
We have to change our views
Of whom takes care of your
Well-being and dwelling.
We watched in awe two birdies
Wedding dance,
That makes both moms & dads
So very happy.
Romantic story started so poetic,
And so poetic goes on and on.
We dreamed of this for many-many years
Two Jewish souls united now forever,
Together now they search their endeavor
And have together all barriers to overcome.
Two families and all ancestors watch
And all surround with appreciation of
Sparkling flame that’s following the torch,
Through centuries and future generations
In Israel, Russia, Hungary and Spain,
Each Jewish bride and every Jewish groom,
Through bitter times of prejudice and pain
Survived all thorns
To make these roses bloom.
That’s it… We reached…
this wedding focal point:
Our kids’ joint venture targeting free water
Their boat is launched not from a fancy port
By little breeze they sail from Alma Mater.
Go with no fear!
With all your good intends
You must succeed, we’re glad to be around,
Beloved by all your relatives and friends,
Who wish you well and know
you’ll make us proud.
Anchors aweigh!
