                                             The Second Commandment
Thou shalt have no other gods & No graven images or likenesses
                                                              I
You are who chose beliefs that make you so unique
You are the one you trust, who loves yourself forever,
Who else can so forgive; bring up your “magnifique”?
Who else amends your sins, {= =} permits you your endeavors?
                                                              II
Do not betray yourself to idolize some man:
Why give up your free sense, though he can be admired?
Such worship binds your mind and shackles quests, and then,
You’ll wait through time’s abyss {= =} to get back your desires.
                                                             III
The freedom of the thoughts, ensuring a free rein
Free mind, free will, free gaze shield you from congregations
Free spirit builds the soul, free soul defines a plan,
Free conscience rings the bell at the time of salvation.
                                                             IV
The liberty to change gives freedom to retrieve
It isn’t smart to swear that faith has settled steady
Bright men do not engrave old legacy beliefs,
While idolizing thus, {= =} we aren’t future ready
                                                             V
Some borrow a woman's dress and whine to be “oppressed.”
Tattoo foreheads, pierce noses, cry “Truth!” in arty poses.
It won’t erase the stress or change their hearts deep mess,
Nor will so-called “parades” {= =}to show what they’re proud of
                                                             VI
Another in a gray suit, invisible in crowds,
He needs no attributes to demonstrate his talents,
He doesn’t need to yell, to show off that he’s swell.
But he can reach the stars, {= =} being brilliant and gallant.
                                                             VII
You have a whole life, to choose from the conceptions:
From the “science” of the atheism to the church's affiliated,
There is a spectrum there, but call one “my acceptance”
You have to feel informed, {= =}at peace, and educated.
                                                            VIII
Their history’s dogmatic, each tale is so dramatic,
Smart scriptures are poetic, old paintings are esthetic,
You must digest the mission, associate traditions,
Which billions of submissions {= =} have voted recognition
                                                             IX
Thus, when you had the most, you fused their threads of thought.
No needs for other Gods, except the one self-drafted,
A free man of the World, spurns idols to emboss,
Just a goodness of his soul that’s carefully crafted.
<Just a goodness of his soul that cannot be extracted.>
